Gränna

We spent a wonderful morning in Gränna. Gränna is famous for a candy from this region called Polkagris... they look like candy canes but they come in many colors and flavors taste much better that candy canes.

Growing up, Fredrica's grandfather always took her to Franssons, one of many places in Gränna that make Polkagris

They are always making them so you can watch

Isabella was mesmerized watching the process... I finally got her to turn around for a moment and smile

This is a school in the center of town... in fact, it was the school Fredrica's mom went to when she was a little girl

Gränna... its hard to capture how cute the town is

We went into a bread store that was constantly baking. You can see the bakers in the background and the samples that you can try in the foreground. We picked up so nice bread for our dinner with Susan that night

Even the grocery stores fit the theme of the town

Outside a store 5 kronor got you a wild ride on a motorcycle.

We had lunch at the harbor where boats leave to take people and cars to Visingsö.

Next to where we ate lunch was a campground on the lake... We put Isabella in her swimsuit. It was great fun with slides setup in the water. Isabella was a bit cold but this video gives you the feel for her excitement.

iPhone-ing while dad and Bella were in the water.

Time to go...
