I'm 1 meter tall!

For my Christmas, Ansi and Johan gave a fun way to measure how I am growing. It hangs on the wall and I can stand against it and then mom & dad tell me how tall I am getting.

It has fun things on it like flowers and lady bugs. It also has a small clothes pin that I can move up the board as I grow!

A day at mommy's spa for toddlers!

Bella has it made, we cook for her, dress her, play with her, drive her around and now also help maintain her natural beauty. On Sunday not only did I paint her nails but also blow dried and styled her hair. It's a hard knock life she lives;-)

Bags of organic food at our door step

As you know we been going shopping at our local farmers market for many years now. Now however we get organic fruit, vegetables and eggs delivered once a week to our door from a local farm located 20 miles away. The company is called Sea Breezed and they are great. So far we had three deliveries and each week we never know quit what we're getting but have never been disappointed. This weeks delivery contained; fresh flowers, spring mix with eatable flowers, sprouts, tomatoes, carrots, lettuce, cucumber, avocado, oranges, tangerines, grape fruits, bananas, radishes, onions and strawberries.

Spring has sprung!

Spring is one of our favorite times of the year in San Diego. Technically this area isconsidered a semi-airid dessert... that means is can get pretty dry and hot. But the spring... well the wild flowers go crazy. Drives along the freeways that most of the year are scrubby areas burst into yellows and blue and purples this time of year.

A particularly spectacular place is at Murray Lake where we often go bike riding and hiking. The wild flowers are growing as far as the eye can see. We took a bunch of pictures of Bella.

Tax day!!!!

Finally it's here and me and Bella as so happy about that because we're getting James back from the stress of work. Tonight me and James are going out to celebrate while Bella is hanging out with Andrea. So what has me and Bella been up to while daddy has been busy? A lot and here are some pictures to show you.

Whenever I take Bella shopping she usually starts nibbling on a yellow pepper in store. This time at least she waited until we paid for it and were in the car.

Cool weather is gone but cool Bella remains

So according to the news we now had our last winter storm and are now moving towards summer. We didn't mind the rain or storms and loved what it did to our garden. It made it all green and filled with flowers and vegetables. Today when we got home Bella wanted to play outside with her doll but she said the sun was to bright so she needed sunglasses. She is definitely the coolest looking kid on the block and the most beautiful little girl in the world (according to us ;)

Rocking and Rolling on Easter

What an exciting Easter... a 7.2 earthquake in Baja woke us all up from our naps and lasted 42 seconds! Isabella and Angelina hunted for eggs at Sandy's house... there's no better place in the world for egg hiding (I have such great memories from my own childhood here). And we completed the night with a wonderful dinner party with friends and neighbors. More Easter pictures are here

Painting Easter Eggs

At 3 and a half... Bella is loving Easter this year. We told her a couple days ago that we would paint Easter Eggs this afternoon... she's been talking about it every since :-)
