First Day in Sweden

We are back in Sweden... for our annual trip. This year we have come earlier than normal because we have Susan's wedding this weekend. Susan flew all the way from Sweden to be in our wedding 10 years ago!

The blog entries this year are a bit shorter. Isabella's room is the office, which makes for more limited time to get in here to upload pictures and tell stories.

The plane ride felt really long this year. We stopped in Philadelphia for 3 hours and then again in London. Isabella did great on the plane but drow her sleep deprived parents nuts when asking "going to Sweden?" every 10 seconds or so.

Ansi bought Isabella this shirt. It was the winning design from an eight year old on the environment... it is a bandaid on the earth.

Frida took Isabella to the stables so Isabella could see and pet the horses. She was fascinated by the horses, but wasn't quite ready to pet them but was happily in charge of which horses would get carrots.

Isabella's First Haricut

In a week we are off to Sweden. We are going to a Susan's wedding one of Fredrica's best friends how flew all the way from Sweden to be one of our bride's maids when we got married.

So, it seemed like this was the perfect time to get a professional haircut for Isabella. Kelly, Fredrica's stylist, gave Isabella her first haircut. Isabella was so good, she was really still (as you can see in the videos). Afterwards she smiled and said "mommy, kelly make Bellarina pretty!"

She loved getting her hair blown dry... now she wants mommy to do it at home!

As Isabella language skills grow, she is doing more and more singing... and even able to get English and Swedish songs sung from start to finish!

Boy Were We Bored Today...

Sat was all about getting our new bed. Out with the old in the morning... trip to IKEA and built the new bed frame in the afternoon, new king size matress arrives in the afternoon.

Sunday began decidedly more lazy...

This is what Sundays are for... laz-ing in bed, drinking some tea.

It was a summer-like day... almost 80F so we were off to the beach.

Ever since going to Hawaii last November, Isabella has been afraid of the beach (too noisy). Today she was tentative, but really go into it and had a lot of fun.

After nap time, we decide to take Isabella on our first train ride. She was super excited.

We took the Trolly (which stops a mile from our house) to Old Town (you can take it all the way down to the Mexican border)

Isabella was enthralled. Checking out everything as we went by... Isabella key saying... "Going fast daddy!"

News Flash

Our camera that shoots videos broke a few months back so we haven't had any videos for a while. But listen to anchor woman Isabella Syren (who has grown a lot and is talking much better since she last broke the news).
