Noah's first taste of food

Oh boy is our baby boy growing too fast:) Noah is already 4 month old and is a heavy champ weighing in at 15 Ibs. He can sit with support and loves to stand and dance. We had planned to delay feeding solids to 5-6 month since he was doing so well on just breast milk. With Bella we started early, 3,5 month because our pediatrician recommended to help with her acid reflux which it did. However, we traded it for bad constipation instead so with Noah we wanted to wait to avoid that. Now that was a good plan with the exception that Noah's is one hungry little dude who was driving us crazy with his constant eating. Also as of a couple of weeks ago. he started showing interest in eating solids, watching us and mimic chewing. So a few days ago we gave it try with rice cereal and he LOVED it. He squeals and opens his mouth real wide. Right after his first meal, Bella announced that HER baby now is also eating solids. I guess both our babies are growing up:)

Easter 2011

Easter 2011 was unusual fun but a little different since we have Noah this year. Usually we have a Easter breakfast at home and this year I even baked chocolate croissants to Bella's delight. We then go to James aunt Sandy's hour were Bella join other kids in a traditional Easter egg hunt but this year it was only me and Bella who went since Noah was sound a sleep and when he sleep well we don't wake the bear:)

In the evening we usually host a dinner for all of our friends but this year I was in no place to cook for a bunch of people so it was only us and Jess, thank god because we're dealing with two very over tired kids so dinner was anything but relaxing. The most fun thing that happened this day was that Bella scored high in her egg hunt and made over $39!!!!

Noah has discovered him self! He play onhis mat forever and now when I added a mirror he has even more fun watching him self.

It takes a village!

The San Diego weather continues it's bizarre patterns with super hot days switching to cold a rainy a couple of days later. This weekend was super hot so we took turns spending time with Bella since Noah does not like it outside when it's hot. On Saturday me and Bella went for breakfast at Mimi's and then went shopping. Daddy took Bella to the children's museum in the afternoon. Today I walked while pushing Bella in the stroller to the playground and then we all went for lunch.

James had to go to work in the afternoon because of tax day and all. I had help from nanny Amanda and friend Jess and thank god for that. Bella was not it her best spirit and Noah took 2 hours of rocking, feeding and singing to go to sleep. When I finally got to eat my dinner which I cooked for everyone, I got a cold veggie burger served with a warm salad, yuck!!!

Well now I'm relaxing with a cup of tea while working before heading off to bed.

Peeka-boo!!!!

It's Noah's favorite game and we played over and over again when we're home alone as well as standing up which is his second favorite thing. He is so aware of his surroundings and still growing like and weed and sleeping like, hmmm well not at all during the day.

Hello, nice to see you again!

Our dear friends Andrea has been missing in action since Noah was born and not by her choice. When Noah was born she was going to assist us in the birth as she did with Bella. However, Andrea's new puppy Lola was seriously ill and it was a question if she was going to make it so she needed to leave.

When we came home from the hospital, she came by with some home cooked meals for us but since she has not been around. Me and Noah has ha

d the fortune to see on Wednesday since she teaches a class following our mommy and me class. Andrea has been very busy with work, she traveled to Ireland with her mom and sister and she been dealing with some illness but now she is back and feeling better so we got to have spend some quality time with her on Sunday. Yeahhh!! She could not believe how but both Bella and Noah had gotten.

Our friend Alexandra and her 7 weeks old baby boy Max came down from San Mateo and visited us for a few days. It was great having someone to keep you company during all the feeding and rocking. We also took some time to go to two yoga classes and one long walk. It's so much easier and fun when there is someone else at home during day and an extra pairs of hands to make lunch :) Miss you both!
