We are making our annual trip to Sweden. We are doing a Home Exchange again this year... and like last year it is working out great. The house is really nice and comfortable and has a great view.
The trip started out a bit rocky though... our 7:30 am flight out of San Diego was delayed so we missed our flight from Newark to Stockholm. After a lot of work we finally got re-routed to Germany and had a 5 hour layover!!! Not so much fun with two kids. We also did not get seats next to each other on the Newark to Germany flight. When we finally arrived in Stockholm there we some super tired people stepping off.
The first two days we stayed in a hotel middle of the city but spend most of the time sleeping. Noah decided to stay on California time and was awake every night from 1-4 am just wanting to play. However, Bella slept from 10 pm to 5 am so they were just on opposite schedule making it hard for us to get any sleep.
On Tuesday we moved in to our home exchange house and settled in and things began to shift for both kids sleep patterns.
We've been enjoying beautiful weather and lazy days so far and tomorrow and Saturday we'll be celebrating Fredrica's birthday!

Noah sleep in the airport on the trip over. Both kids were so amazing on the flights... no crying and they both slept well!

We have arrived... we are staying at a hotel in the city for the first few days. For the first 3 days Noah has perfectly stayed on California time... which means finally going to sleep at 4am :-(!!!
In is already getting light in Sweden by then! Here is a picture I took about 3am on a walk to Noah before we finally crashed. ZZZzzzzz

What's the best thing about Swedish Summers? Sweet, plump, juicy, sweet Swedish strawberries. They would bring a smile to your face too.

On Tue we moved into the house we are staying at. Isabella is staying in Viola's room. They are the same age and it is a perfect match. Isabella loves her room and toys and I am sure Viola is enjoying Bella's room right now
